Illustration of D.Va for It Takes A Woman zine – a fanzine celebrating the female cast of Overwatch.

I adore D.Va for her playful and spunky attitude, even in the face of fighting to save her world! When the chance to illustrate her came up, I wanted to use the piece to pay my respects to Overwatch’s inclusive and diverse cast. Since D.Va hails from South Korea, I filled the piece with patterns and flowers of symbolic meaning to her homeland, while staying true to her personality and strength.
